Launch Day: Trouble returns to the water today. She has been on the hard for two months undergoing maintenance, upgrades, and a thorough cleaning.
After launching, I headed to Fisherman’s Bay near Deltaville, approximately 30 nautical miles away. The next stop was Solomon’s Island, about 60 nautical miles further. The following day, I pulled into Back Creek in Annapolis, which was 46 nautical miles from there.

I snagged mooring ball #73 near the Annapolis Landing fuel dock. I’ve been keeping busy with more boat maintenance and troubleshooting dinghy outboard issues. Annapolis has really become like a second home to me. Spending a few months here is always pleasant, especially with cruising friends dropping by and keeping me social.

The project list is constantly growing faster than I can get them done. Chasing electrical gremlins, outboard blues, rigging issues, and already starting next season’s list, makes the days blend into the weeks and months. Eventually, it’s just time to go, and you wrap up what you can and focus on leaving.
The nights are getting colder, and the itch to get South is setting in. Next blog, we head to warmer weather.
