I had to launch a day early as the shipyard needed my space to lift in the docks for the Annapolis Boat Shows in October. They have over 400 dock sections they need to string together then tow & tug them in 8 piece sections around the corner near the Annapolis Moorings.
I had pretty much everything done. The yard was behind on the work orders I had with them. They rushed through the work orders last minute. One didn’t quite get done before I launched but they put me on a dock for a few hours while they finished up the welding. My “Trouble” score for this marina is an 8 for the facilities and a 3 for the workmanship. Which brings them a little above a 5. Trouble is now at the Annapolis Moorings for a few days while I clean up my work mess and try to give her a good scrubbing inside and a bit of polishing on the outside deck.
This will be the start of my 2021-2022 Season, which I will spend in the Bahamas again. Or at least that is the plan for now. Hopefully, the family will meet me in the Georgetown area near Christmas. But, COVID is still causing issues outside the US and the Bahamas are way behind the US in vaccinations.
