Alders Cay

01/13 s/v Trouble Update: I’m finishing up today with The Berry Islands. I spent last night on Hoffman Cay and tonight on Alders Cay, which is a private island. Very pretty and well kept. The homes are hidden from the water, which is interesting. My last two days have been very short hops which were nice. It didn’t need lots of planning like most of my passages. Tomorrow I sail to Eleuthera. It’s about 50 nautical miles and should take me about 8 hours. I’ll get up early and be off anchor at first light. My passage to Eleuthera will take me over some very deep water. Over 43,000 feet in some areas. I’ll spend about a week in the Spanish Wells area then start heading south along Eleuthera. When I reach the bottom I head west across the Exuma sound and follow the Exumas south to Georgetown.
