06/18 Looking for s/v Trouble Update: I took two days to get to Dennis Point Marina. I stayed in a quiet cove called Mill Creek by the Great Wicomico River for a night. While anchored here I did see a snake swim by. Not sure I want to experience snakes on a boat! The next morning I got up and headed out. I tried to stay in the middle of the channel to avoid the crab pots. I wanted to get in early before the afternoon thunder storms came through. I arrived at Dennis Point Marina (DPM) without indecent but I failed to hail them on the radio and ended up just calling them. They didn’t have a dock hand and where they put me was pretty tight. I did get the office manager to come out and give me a hand and we got Trouble tied on with just a few minor scrapes (Uggg). DPM is a very quite marina with very few amenities, but it does have a gantry big enough to pull Trouble out, but they claimed they did not have room. Their were multiple Catanas that summer here and of course like all cruisers were very friendly and welcoming. First thing I set up was some airconditioning as the temps rose into the 90s. I also did some updates and repairs and hung out with the other Catana owners, until my departure to fly to Marco Island for a family get together. After my family trip I was ready to head off to Annapolis.
